Global Tech Review / Standards

Evaluation methodology

How Global Tech Review separates documented capabilities, observed results and editorial judgment.

Evidence before recommendation

Every published profile, review and comparison must identify its sources, author, verification date, scope and limitations. This is our publishing standard, not a claim that every listed capability has been tested.

Documentation-based profiles

Vendor documentation can establish what a supplier advertises. It does not establish real-world quality, reliability or value. These entries are labeled documentation-only; statements distinguish vendor-documented facts from editorial opinion.

Hands-on reviews

Hands-on reviews must describe the plan, version, test period, environment and tasks. Findings apply to those conditions. Numeric ratings require a stated rubric and hands-on testing; profiles do not receive scores.

Fair comparisons

A comparison identifies each product and evaluates each against the same named criteria. Recommendations depend on the stated use case. Missing evidence is a limitation, not a reason to invent a winner.

Time-sensitive information

Pricing records include the date checked, source and billing context. Prices, quotas, privacy terms and product capabilities can change. Consult the linked official source before purchasing or sending sensitive data.
